We use the Guidelines for preventing Under Nutrition in Acute Hospitals, April 2009 to develop a range of nutritionally sound meal solutions that can be adapted for difference patient groups as we recognise that one type of meal solution does not fit all environments. All the meal solutions can also be adapted to suit the amount of space available within a hospital. In addition, all of the staff who are involved in patient food services receive comprehensive training to ensure that the service element complements the quality of the food being served to delivered improved patient satisfaction.
