This is the second ARAMARK Healthcare site in Ireland along with Galway University Hospital to attaining the certification.
The award is a signal to all hospital users of the high standards of quality, hygiene and food preparation which are in place at Mayo General Hospital.
Rigorous auditing of systems in the ARAMARK Healthcare facilities on site at Mayo General Hospital was conducted by the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) resulting in the prestigious accreditation. ARAMARK Healthcare practices strict compliance with international standards for food safety management at all of its operations.
